Guests for the Holidays

The holiday season is a time of joy, togetherness, and making cherished memories with loved ones. If you're playing host this year, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for your guests is essential. Whether family or friends, I always try to ensure that those spending time away from their homes feel as comfortable as they can in mine. In this guide, we'll explore some simple yet impactful ways to prepare for guests during the holiday season, with a special focus on adding thoughtful touches like linen spray for towels, luxurious soap for the ultimate shower experience, and a delightful candle to set the mood.

Linen spray is essential… yes, really! There's something magical about wrapping yourself in a freshly scented towel or sliding into a bed that smells just divine. I use our Lavender Linen Spray for the pillows and bed sheets. Lavender has the reputation for promoting relaxation and reducing stress. The inhalation of a lavender aroma is thought to have a calming effect on the nervous system, so what better way for your guests to fall asleep?  In addition, the clean, crisp smell of our Cotton Fresh Linen Spray is reserved for the bath and hand towels to boost the overall shower feel. Throw your towels into the dryer with a wool ball to fluff it up and get rid of static, spritz with the linen spray and then gently fold for your guest.

Speaking of showering, offering your guests the best cleansing bar isn’t just a nice gesture, it also allows them to feel cared for. Our full body soap bars are handcrafted, meaning we make them ourselves in small batches which allows us to eliminate shelf-life preservatives and leave you with something your skin will love. The fragrance notes in our soaps are so sensual, they will take your guests on a mini-vacation they even didn’t know they were going on.

Okay, let’s wrap this up… with a candle. How can you not have one to set the mood? The wonderful thing about our candles is that you can find one with the top and base notes that fit the aesthetic in your guest quarters. Tree Belly Breeze, for instance, pairs nicely with greens and earth tones. Bonjour celebrates florals and pastels. If you’re adding to the holiday vibe, Lounge and Lavish will jingle all the way. Our candles also have wood wicks that give off a light crackling sound… it’s a vibe. It’s definitely a vibe!

Now, after exposing your guests to the finer things in life, you can’t exactly send them home empty-handed now, can you? Offer them minis of all the fragrances you teased them with each day in your home so they not only remember how relaxed they felt, they also hold on to the memories you created together.
